The Pokémon News Press building is located in Solaceon Town. It headquarters the premier newspeople of the Sinnoh region.

Its central point of interest is a News Reporter who fields daily challenges and rewards thereof.

News Reporter

A News Reporter can always be found writing at his desk inside. He specializes in Pokémon stories.

Everyday, he will request to see a different Pokémon for his feature article. He will only accept Pokémon with your OT, meaning you have to be the one who caught it; you can't show a traded one of a different OT. Furthermore, the shown Pokémon must be caught after the request. Showing a shiny Pokémon will double the rewards.

During days 1-5, the requested Pokémon will be limited to Uncommon Pokémon. During days 6 and 7, the requested Pokémon will be limited to Rare Pokémon.

The days are ordered chronologically starting with the time you start the task and end at 00:00 GMT+0. It will reset to Day 1 after you complete the Day 7 challenge.

Rewards

Every time his request is fulfilled, he will give a reward based on the number of times the player has helped him. There are 7 rewards in a cycle, so once he has been helped 7 times, he will revert to the 1st day reward. For every 25 requests fulfilled, you will be rewarded with a 48 hour Safari Pass. The rewards are as follow, with days 3, 5, and Day 7 being randomized:
