Dragon Tail is a Dragon-type damage-dealing move.

Function

Dragon Tail inflicts damage at a decreased-priority disposition, ensuring that the opponent will always premove the user unless they are using a lower-tier priority move or a same-tier priority move wherein they win the tie-breakers.

Thereupon inflicting damage, it will forcibly switch out the opponent's Pokémon to the next-available Pokémon in the positional arrangement of their lineup; if it is used against their sixth Pokémon, it will circle back to the lead Pokémon and check for the next-available Pokémon therefrom. If there are no battleable Pokémon in the opponent's lineup, Dragon Tail will monofunctionally inflict damage.

Against wild Pokémon, Dragon Tail will end the battle if the user's level is equal or greater to the wild Pokémon's.

Due to the nullity of all switch-out functions against bosses, Dragon Tail will be completely functionless against all boss-NPC Pokémon; this includes its damage-dealing effect, as it will inflict no damage to them in addition to its inability to switch out their operative Pokémon.
