Intimidate (ability)

Intimidate is one of the many abilities that are inheritable by Pokémon.

Function

When a Pokémon with Intimidate ability enters the battle, it lowers the Attack stat of opponent by one stage.

Intimidate does not affect the Pokémon with Clear Body, Hyper Cutter, White Smoke, Oblivious, Own Tempo, Inner Focus, Scrappy or the Full Metal Body abilities.
It raises the Attack stat of a Pokémon with Guard Dog, instead of lowering it.
