Ilex Forest

Route 34 is a Johto route located between Ilex Forest and Goldenrod City. Most particularly, it is the Johto route in which the Daycare Center is located, making it a good place to remember for late game.

Notable miscellanies

Daycare Center

Main article: Daycare Center

There is a Daycare Center built in the middle of the route. Although it won't be opened the first time the route is visited, it will become a useful location after it has been unlocked. See the main article for more information.

Herb sisters

By following the river to its southern end, the player will arrive in a hidden location where there are three Lass trainers. Defeating them will reward 2-4 Mental Herbs, 2-4 White Herbs and 2-4 Power Herbs, and they can be rechallenged every week, making it an excellent location to stock on these items.
