Overcoat is one of the many abilities that are inheritable by Pokémon.

Function

A Pokémon with Overcoat does not take damage from the weather conditions Sandstorm and Hailstorm. Overcoat also is immune to the effects of the Effect Spore ability and all the powder and spore moves such as Cotton Spore, Magic Powder, Poison Powder, Powder, Rage Powder, Sleep Powder, Spore and Stun Spore.
