Tohjo Falls
New Bark Town Route 27 Route 26

Route 27 is a Kanto route, and the last route to cross before reaching New Bark Town and entering the Johto region. In order to cross the route, it is necessary to walk a small distance in the Tohjo Falls. There is also a place to rest in front of the Tohjo Falls entrance.

It is to note that despite the presence of whirlpools in the waters of Route 27, they cannot be passed even with a pokemon that knows the more Whirlpool. There isn't anything blocked by the whirlpools and appear to only be decorative.

Notable miscellanies

Tohjo Falls

Tohjo Falls splits the Route into two parts. The two entrances are however very close, and only a small distance is required to be travelled in order to reach the other end of the cave.

Resting point

Immediately in front of the Tohjo Falls, and accessible from its eastern entrance is a house occupied by an elderly woman. She will fully heal the player's Pokémon for free and as many times as the player desires.

Johto start

Upon trying to move to New Bark Town, the player will be warned that beyond that point, all Pokémon will be locked into the PC and returning to Kanto will not be possible until the 8th badge of Johto is obtained. As such, it is necessary to make sure all preparations are complete, such as taking out all items from Pokémon. All Pokémon in the current party will be automatically transfered to the PC as soon as the player enters New Bark Town.
