Wide Guard is a Rock-type status-based move.

Function

Wide Guard will immunize the operative Pokémon from any multi-target damage-dealing moves that were programmed in the handheld games, such as Surf and Earthquake.

While double- and triple-battles are not implemented in PRO for moves to multi-hittingly execute, all moves within that bracket are still acknowledged and thus are nullified against users of this move.

It is also a +3-tier increased-priority move, meaning that it will automatically strike first unless either a higher-tier priority move is employed or an equal-tier priority move is deployed by an actively faster Pokémon.
