Kanto Safari Zone is Kanto's iterative Safari Zone, which is accessible within Fuchsia City.

This area is accessibilized as soon as you defeat Victor on Route 19, southward of Fuchsia City; thereafter, you can admissibly enter the zone by paying either 5,000 for a 20-minute session or 50,000 for a 24-hour-valid pass. Because HM03 (Surf) is exclusively acquirable within this zone, players will compulsorily need to enter the zone eventually for the rest of the storyline to be progressible.

It is sectionalized into five zones, including a membership-exclusive zone. It is also segmentally augmented by the effort wald, which can be entered for a fee of 10,000, or for the reduced price of 2,000 if the player has bought a 24-hour safari pass.

Notable miscellanies

Safari Effort Wald

Main article: Kanto Safari Effort Wald

The Kanto Safari has an alternative area, specialized not for catching rare Pokémons, but for training the EV Points of a Pokémon. Entering it costs 10,000, or 2,000 if the player has an active Safari Pass.

The Effort Wald is separated in two areas, both of which have three patches of grass. Each patch of grass has only Pokémons that give 3 EV points of the same stat, making it by far the best place to EV train any Pokémon.

HM03

HM03 (Surf) can be found claimable on Safari House 4, which is situated in Safari Zone 3. Once it is in your inventory, water will be surfable contingent that you have a Surf-wielding Pokémon, a surfable mount, or other surfable navigational devices.

Vendors

Two purveyors can be found stationed in the area's entry lobby.

A vendor christened as the Ultra Ball Maniac will sell Ultra Balls in quantities of 300 and 600 for 270,000 and 500,000 aset, respectively.

Another vendor will also sell the following apparatus for your Safari Zone trip:

Safari Zone Apparatus
ItemPrice
Pokeball???
Great Ball600
Escape Rope550
Super Potion700
Ether600
Elixir1,500

Poison Jab Tutor

A Move Tutor for the move Poison Jab can be found between trees in the middle-north of Safari Area 1. He will teach the move to any compatible Pokémon for the price of 12,000.

Shiny Stone seller

The Shiny Stone seller is hiding behind a tree in the north-east corner of Safari Area 1. He will sell the player a Shiny Stone for the price of 20,000. This can be purchased once every 2 weeks.
