Route 24 is a Kanto route that is interlocated between Cerulean City and Route 25, serving as a junctional route therebetween.

The only junctional pathway on this route is the bridge, which has a serpentine line of impassable battle NPCs that passersby will encounter en route to Route 25. This route must be passed in order to reach Route 25 and complete Bill's mini-quest, which is antecedent to starting the S.S. Anne quest.

The wild-Pokémon grass patch is accessible from the southwestern terminus of Route 25. Herefrom, you can also Surf on the waterway en route to otherwise-inaccessible segments of Cerulean City, including Cerulean Cave's entrance, and Route 4.

The route has been turned into an EV Training route; It is possible to EV train any of the stats by coming at the right time of the day, without having to worry about running into a Pokémon that gives the wrong EV. Due to this, it is also possible to capture Pokémons evolved earlier than possible.
