Cinnabar Mansion is a Kanto Mansion that can be found on Cinnabar Island, providing the most prolific training grounds for leveling up your Pokémon preparatively for the co-tenanted Cinnabar Gym.

This mansion must be accessed as an antecedent to accessing Cinnabar Gym, since the gym will be initially locked; the only avenue to unlocking it is by acquiring the key from this mansion.

You can find a Charmander on the 3rd level (Cinnabar Mansion 3).

Notable miscellanies

Flame Charge-tutor

On the second floor, a TM-tutor exists who will impart the Flame Charge technique to the final-stage forms of any evolutionary line that was compatible with the TM in the handheld games. He charges 15,000 per tutee.

Cinnabar Gym key

In order to access the Cinnabar Island gym to challenge Blaine, this mansion must be scoured for the lab key; this can be obtained on Cinnabar Mansion B1F. Until the key has been obtained, police officers will be blocking the main way to the room, the player must find one of two ways to enter the room.

The first way is to fall directly inside of the room. This is done by walking on the right side of the left exit after Youngster Wayne on the 3rd floor. If the player walked a different exit and fell outside of the room in B1F, it is also possible to interact with one of the bookshelves south of the room to find a secret passage that will take the player inside the room.
