Chilly Reception is an Ice type Status move.
It is the signature move of Slowking and Galarian Slowking.

Functionality

Chilly Reception summons a snowstorm. The user tells a chillingly bad joke and switches out.

• The user will switch out even if the weather is already snow.
• If there are no other Pokémon to switch to. it only change the weather to snow.

The snowstorm lasts for 5 turns and induces these additional effects:

• All Ice type Pokémon have their Defense raised by 50%.
• The move Blizzard ignores accuracy.
• The move Aurora Veil may be used.
• The power of Solar Beam and Solar Blade decreases by 50%.
• The moves Synthesis, Morning Sun and Moonlight recover 1⁄4 of the user's max HP (instead of the usual 1⁄2 HP).
• The move Weather Ball changes to Ice type and doubles in power.
• Pokémon with the ability Ice Body recover 1⁄16 of their max HP each turn.
• Pokémon with the ability Slush Rush double their speed.
• Pokémon with the ability Snow Cloak increase their evasion by 20%.
• Castform changes to Snowy Form.(Not coded in PRO)
