Forest Pit is a Johto forest located north of Mt. Mortar. Following the path to the end leads to Lake Cave, an area was been added at the same time as Forest Pit.
The forest itself does not have any special feature. However, two of the Generation 5 starters, Snivy and Tepig, spawn in this area, making it a very good hunting ground.
