Forest Pit is a Johto forest located north of Mt. Mortar. Following the path to the end leads to Lake Cave, an area that has been added at the same time as Forest Pit.

The forest itself does not have any special feature. However, two of the Generation 6 starters, Chespin and Fennekin, spawn in this area, making is a very good hunting ground.
