Catch Rates
Catch rates are determinants that constituently govern the probability of capturing a Pokémon.
Overview
As hexadecimal variables that are calculated in the capture-rate formula, the maximal catch-rate value is 255.
As a complementary variable in addition to the wild Pokémon's current health, catch rates factor into the probability magnitude of capturing it; the higher the catch-rate value is, the greater the probability is. In a vacuum (contingent that the Pokémon huntee has maximal health and has no occurrent status ailments), the impact of catch rates will range from 0.4% (3) to 33.3% (255).
