Ice Face (ability)
Ice Face is one of the many abilities that are inheritable by Pokémon.
Function
If this Pokémon is an Eiscue, the first physical hit it takes in battle deals 0 damage. Its ice face is then broken and it changes forme to Noice Face.
Eiscue regains its Ice Face form when Snow or Hail begins or when Eiscue switches in while Snow or Hail is active.
Ice Face does not protect against special moves, including those that deal physical damage, such as Psyshock, Psystrike, or Secret Sword.
Ability altering moves and abilities fail if the target has Ice Face ability, such as Simple Beam, Gastro Acid, Mummy, Trace etc.
