Substitute is a Normal type, Status move.
Functionality
Substitute uses 1/4 of the users total HP and creates a substitute to take hits and status conditions. If used when under a binding moves, the substitute removes the binding effect.
Weather damage and damage from status effects is still taken. Sound-based moves and Pokémon with Infiltrator bypass the substitute. Switching out removes the substitute. If the user doesn't have enough HP to create a substitute or already has one in place, the move will fail.
Baton Pass passes the effect.
Z-Substitute: Restores the user's negative stat stages to 0, then uses Substitute.
