Instructional Walkthrough
To begin the quest, go to the Glitter Lighthouse in the eastern side of Olivine City and speak with Jasmine. She will explain that there is a thick fog preventing a boat from safely entering the port. Therefore, as the lighthouses staff, Jasmine and Ampharos must guide the boat. But the light emitted from Ampharos is not powerful enough, and thus, Jasmine asks for your assistance. Afterwards, you must speak with the Scientist Marc. He will ask that you bring a Pokémon with the Plus ability. Sadly, this is not enough to clear the fog. Next, speak with Scientist Corey. He will ask that you bring a Pokémon with the Minus ability. Lastly, speak with Scientist Albert. He will suggest Mega evolving Ampharos to make it powerful enough to penetrate the fog. However, only one person has knowledge of the Mega stone needed: Raijing.
Raijing
Raijing is enamored with rare Electric type Pokémon, and so, he can be found at the entrance to the Power Plant, the home of one of the rarest Electric types: Zapdos.
