Official events are temporary, recurrent staff-controlled content and competitions in Pokémon Revolution Online.

Events include competitive venues, such as PvP tournaments, and in-game content, such as specially limited-time spawns and quests. They typically reward exclusive items, Pokémon, and other affordances that are not available through the permanent content.

The staff will announce these events upon imminent release on various venues, including system-message broadcasts in-game, the official Discord's #announcements channel, PRO'S Twitter handle, and the forums.

Competitions

Fishing contests

Main article: Corsica Island

Fishing Contests are auto-hosted every week on Corsica Island, lasting for sixty minutes every Saturday starting at 8:00 AM in GMT+0 time.

During these contests, players capture Pokémon from Corsica Island's spawnset via surfing or fishing and submit them to the judge to earn points, which are determined by their haul's rarities and IV totals. Only those who accrue enough points to rank in the top-twenty-five contestants are eligible for rewards.

Summer tours

Holidays

PRO annually hosts seasonal events concurrent to all the multinationally celebrated holidays.

The content varies for each iteration of these events, but the fillips are mostly the same: an overarching questline, event-temporary areas (both new and reintroduced), specially themed Pokémon counterparts, and new cosmetics.

Microcontent

Microcontent refers to mini-events that are readily available for anyone to partake in. They are ephemeral in their affordance, often ending in a matter of hours.

Outbreaks

Main article: Outbreaks

Outbreaks are randomly hosted limited-time opportunities to encounter a rare Pokémon in a designated location. They are announced on short notice, and the content often varies between each server.

They normally last for only four hours, but major outbreaks can be extended for up to an entire day.

World quests

Main article: World quests

World quests are server-wide minievents wherein all the servers' players collectively try to reach a quota of IVs by obtaining and submitting an announcedly designated Pokémon. They occur on the first of every month and end either 24 hours after it initiated or when both servers have reached the IVs goal—whichever happens sooner.

If the server fails to reach the goal within 24 hours, then all its players will be unrewarded. Individuals on successful servers who contributed at least 0.5% (1/200th) of the total IVs will reap a Mysterious Ticket for their efforts (2 if they contributed at least 3%).
