The Forces of Nature quest, sometimes called the Kami quest, is the questline done in order to catch Landorus, Tornadus, and Thundurus. Unlike most quests for legendary Pokémon, in this quest you are able to catch all 3.

Preparations

Before starting the quest, make sure you have the following:

• A Pokémon with Surf or a surf mounts.
• A Pokémon with the ability Storm Drain that has 100 or more IVs and your OT
• A Pokémon with the ability Levitate that has 100 or more IVs and your OT
• A Pokémon with the ability Lightning Rid that has 100 or more IVs and your OT

Walkthrough

Mauville City

To begin the quest, head to Mauville City House 1 and talk to the Jirachi inside. It will explain the situation and ask for your assistance.

Afterwards, head to Route 110, which is directly south of Mauville City. There will be several Team Magma grunts at Route 110.

Make your way through the Team Magma grunts until you reach a portal near the Trick House. Go into it and there will be more Team Magma grunts inside.

Thundurus

After all the Team Magma grunts have been defeated, battle with Thundurus. You will be teleported back to Mauville City when Thundurus has been defeated.

Landorus

Similar to what you did for Thundurus, you will need to head to an area and defeat Team Magma grunts. From Mauville City, go north into Route 111 South, beat the grunts, and enter the portal on the top left of the map.

Entering the portal will bring you to an area with more trainers, again.

Following the defeat of all the Team Magma grunts, you will battle with Landorus. Again, you will be teleported back to Mauville City after beating it.

Tornadus

Once again, you will need to fight Team Magma grunts and enter a portal. Head east from Mauville City and beat all the grunts. The portal is on the right side of the map, just above the first ledge.

Again, enter the portal and beat the Team Magma grunts.

Battle Tornadus after all the Team Magma grunts and you will be teleported to Mauville City.

Magma Admin Courtney

Enter Mauville City House 1 and talk to Magma Admin Courtney. She will battle you.

Catching the Forces of Nature

Now talk to Jirachi. It will ask you which of the Forces of Nature you wish to catch. This is where you need the Pokémon with Levitate, Lighting Rod, and Storm Drain. All of which will need to have your OT and have 100 or more IVs.

If you select Landorus, you will need Levitate. For Tornadus, you will need Storm Drain. Finally, for Thundurus, you will need Lightning Rod.

Prepare your desired sync and sufficient Pokéballs(a [[Master Ball is recommended). You will be teleported to the selected Pokémon's chamber, where you will catch the selected one. Good luck!
