Thick Fat (ability)
Thick Fat is one of the many abilities that are inheritable by Pokémon.
Function
If the possessor sustains damage from a Fire- or Ice-type move, the inflictor's Attack and Special Attack stats are halved; this benefits the possessor both for its immediacy and for its residuality, since it halves the damage they would have sustained otherwise while emasculating any damage-dealing moves the opponent would have inflicted thereafter.
