Dock Island is the entry point to the Dock Island Region, an extra island located in Johto. It can be accessed by talking to Sailor Jon in Olivine City. The area also continues to Amazon Forest Entrance on its north.

On the west side of the area is located Boss, the boss that is considered to be the hardest boss in the game due to its exclusive use of special forms of Legendary Pokémons, as well as its superboss status that prevents use of Bag items. With its high difficulty comes great rewards though, making it worthwhile to challenge.

Notable miscellanies

Boss

Boss can be found in the western house of the area, past the water. To enter the house, the player will need an active Membership. He will fight the player on the conditions that they have beaten the Johto League. Being a Superboss, the use of bag items is also not allowed during the battle. See the main page for more information.
