Battle Bond (ability)
Battle Bond is one of the many abilities that are inheritable by Pokémon.
Froakie caught in Necropolis—a Halloween-event area—with Protean have a chance of inheriting Battle Bond upon reaching Greninja's evolutionary stage. Because this is restricted to Halloween events and special outbreaks, it is only occasionally available.
Function
When Greninja knocks-out a Pokémon, Battle Bond causes it to transform into Ash-Greninja.
