A positional vantage point of Goldenrod Department Store in Johto.

Goldenrod Department Store is a six-story compartmental emporium located in Goldenrod City, being the largest building therein.

It is the only department store available in Johto; by extension, it is the largest store in the region, carrying the most all-encompassing inventory of items—inclusive of some item categories that are not ubiquitously retailed in Pokémarts, such as TMs and evolutionary stones.

This floor subsumes all items that are sold throughout Pokémarts. While all these items are interspersed throughout Pokémarts, they are only limitedly available in each one due to the 10-item maximum for each shop; however, since they have been subcompartmentalized on this floor, all are purchasable, here.

===Body Slam Tutor]] A move-tutor can also be found; he will impart the Body Slam technique to any compatible Pokémon for 15,000 per tutee.

Additionally, a Pokéball-vendor can be found on the floor. He will sell you 50 Pokéballs for the price of 9,000; this effectively saves you 1,000, since 50 Pokéballs would cost 10,000 at the standardly retailed price.
