Legendary Pokémon and Mythical Pokémon refers to a group of Pokémon which are unique and usually more powerful compared to other Pokémon. Those group of Pokémon are only catchable once, with the exception of Phione and need some special requirements to be able to be caught. Legendary and Mythical Pokémon are in PRO not clearly differentiateable and Mythical Pokémon are often colloquial termed as legendarys.


Fundamental Facts

• Legendary and Mythical Pokémon are shiny-locked at their spawns.

• They are only catchable once with the exception of Phione.

• These Pokémon are the only type of Pokémon whose Individual Values and Nature can be rerolled with the help of Reroll Tickets and Nature Reroll Tickets.

• Unlike other Pokémon, Legendary and Mythical Pokémon can not be traded to other players.

• Currently, not all Legendary and Mythical Pokémon are catchable in PRO.

Requirements and Questline

To be able to catch a Legendary or Mythical Pokémon, some special requirements has to be reached in order to start a Pokémon specific quest.

Mew

Mew was the first aviable Mythical Pokémon and is, with a Base stat of 600, aviable in PvP matches.

Requirements

  • Have at least 225 hours playtime
  • Be at least Johto Champion
  • Own a Dragon Medallion
  • Have all Kanto Pokemon caught excluded Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres and Mewtwo which need to be seen only.
  • Have at least 71 evolved Pokèmon

Questline

Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres

The seen data of this Pokémon can be obtained by a battle against the three Legendary Birds. They appear as Pokémon sprited NPC and are one time battles. Articuno is located at Seafoam B4F, Zapdos at Power Plant and Moltres at Victory Road in Kanto.

Mewtwo

In order to be able to enter Cerulean Cave, face Mewtwo and get it's seen data, the eponymous quest needs to be solved. Mewtwo is located at Cerulean Cave B1F.

Old Sea Map

If all requirements are reached, Prof. Oak in Pallet Town needs to inspect the Pokédex with the result of the option to talk to the Know it all Man in Celadon City. The Know it all Man, located in Celadon Office, will reward the Old Sea Map which is needed for further progress.

Faraway Island

With the help of the Old Sea Map, it is possible to travel to Far Away Island with a Lapras located in the bay south of Pallet Town. The travel will only be done with the interaction to Lapras between 12:00pm-13:00pm Pokétime.

Once arrived, a small way is following to the second floor where Mew is hidden located at a bush.

Celebi

Requirements

  • Have at least 275 hours playtime
  • Be Johto Champion
  • Have a completed Kanto Dex excluded Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres and Mewtwo which need to be seen only.
    • How to get the seen data of mentioned Pokémon is explained in the Mew Quest
  • Have a completed Johto Dex excluded Entei, Raikou, Suicune, Lugia, Ho-Oh and Celebi which need to be seen only.
  • Have at least 121 evolutions recorded in the Pokédex
