The PRO glossary is a list of common argot used by the community of Pokémon Revolution Online. It's predominantly comprised of shorthands like abbreviations, acronyms, and symbols that might be unfamiliar to newer members of the game.

Because language is ever-changing and subjective, this list is unlikely to encompass all ambiguous-sounding terms you read.

Acc	Accuracy; the likelihood of a move successfully striking its target(s)
Admin	Administrator
Atk	A Pokémon's Attack stat
AV	Assault Vest or anti-virus

BCC	Bug Catching Contest
BMS	Black Medallion; an item used to raise the Hidden Ability odds from 5% to 25%
BO	Best offer
BP	Base power; points that principally govern the damage output of a move
BST	Base Stat Total

C

Term	Meaning
CC	Community Coordinator, Coin Capsule(s), or Cerulean Cave
C.O./co	Current offer; the amount of Pokédollars something is being auctioned at
CS	Content Scripter

D

Term	Meaning
DD	Dragon Dance or Dragon's Den
Def	A Pokémon's Defense stat
DEV	Developer
Disc	Discord
DL	Discord lead(er) or download
DM	Direct message
DMOD	Discord Moderator

E

Term	Meaning
E4	Elite Four
Epic	Used to describe a Pokémon that has the ideal Nature, ideal Ability, and all IVs are above 20, except for the stat lowered by the nature
EXP	Experience (alternative of XP)
EV	Effort Values

F

Term	Meaning
FB	Focus Blast or Fire Blast
Former(s)	A nominal shorthand for former staff members
FP	Focus Punch

G

Term	Meaning
Gc	Group chat or guild channel
GG	Good game (used after a PvP battle)
Gl	Good luck or guild-leader
GM	Game Master
Godly	Used to describe a Pokémon that has the ideal Nature, ideal Ability, and all IVs are above 25, except for the stat lowered by the nature

H

H.A/ha	Hidden Ability
HO	Hyper Offense; a PvP playstyle
HP	Hit points; how much health a Pokémon has and how much damage it can sustain before fainting or in reference to the move Hidden Power

OU	Overused; a tier for competitive battling

PD	Pokédollar(s); the game's central currency
PP	Power points; the amount of charges a move has
PRO	Pokémon Revolution Online
PvE	Player versus environment
PvP	Player-versus player battle

QoL	Quality of Life; a developmental aspect geared towards more convenient gameplay experiences

RC	Rare Candy
RMT	Real-money trading (prohibited per the ruleset)
RR	Reroll, used in reference to the Nature and IVs Reroll Tickets

S.O./so	Starting offer; the amount of Pokédollars needed to begin an auction
Shiny-locked	(Of an NPC-given Pokémon) Unable to have a shiny form
Sp Atk	A Pokémon's Special Attack stat
Sp Def	A Pokémon's Special Defense stat
Spd	A Pokémon's Speed stat
STAB	Same-type attack bonus; a 50% increase to the damage output of a move performed by a Pokémon of the same type
Sync	Synchronize (ability)
