A little bit about me and my role on PRO

Introduction

I'm simply just your average Pokemon player, but with a slight interest in creating guides.
For most in the community, I am just a nobody who suddenly became somebody out of thin air one day. But fret not, I've been in this community since early 2017, but I haven't been active in the in-game chat or Discord that much. And all this suddenly changed when I decided to post a megathread/mega-post on March 2020 called "Complete PRO Pokedex" in the Game Data subforum. But after some toxicity amongst the community and a PRO streamer/contributor trashing it publically, I removed it. I took a big break from the game and came back exactly a year later to post a new and updated guide of the "Complete PRO Pokedex" after a long hiatus.

What I do in my spare time?

I used to code Discord bots

For some odd reason, I decided I wanted to pick up coding for fun, so I started in early 2019 learning Javascript, as it was an interesting language and was far easier to learn while coding a Discord bot. I initially did not pick Discord.js and leaned on Eris library, but documentation of guides and youtube videos were far more common for Discord.js, henceforth my sudden switch. Learning coding from having ZERO experience prior to becoming semi-knowledgeable and having latent information while solving problems today is something I never would've seen myself as at the starting point back in 2019. My journey from there to today has been a long and difficult one, with much downtime and a lot of sleepless nights.

Tsumiki - An Anime Action Discord bot [No longer active]

I used to maintain and develop a Discord bot called Tsumiki coded with Discord.js library, which was found in over 3k+ servers at its final hours.
She was an Anime "Action" bot, which had one of the most developed and advanced Mention Systems currently developed on Discord during the v12 branch and before the v13 release (a few patches in the pre-v13 master branch phases).
Its main feature and focus were its Anime Action commands (i.e Hug, Pat, Kiss, Baka, Blush, Dance with many more).
Want to give it a try? I won't stop you before the project is scrapped due to v13 and new intent.

Bulba - A Community bot for PRO [No longer active]

After ending support for Tsumiki, I decided to step my game up with a Community bot for the game I loved and played a lot on. It has its own Forum thread. As a small hobby project, I was already making big progress with what little time I was given each day. Whilst still in its initial first beta phase (public test server only), it had maintained a stable performance rate and was already outperforming Reborn and NQR in terms of quality and quantity of coded and planned commands, features, and updated and or lacking information. It falls short on API access (as only Dashboard API is public... buuuuu and developers are not willing to make an official Public API... eh), there was not much I could do on that front. Except for living it up with a live PvP ladder (that refreshed ladder every 30 min). It was released on the 1st of August 2022.

Complete PRO Pokedex - What makes it unique?

In March 2021 I first created Complete PRO Pokedex.

What exactly is it?

It's a large mega-post covering all 8 Generations of Pokemon on PRO, partially or fully covered with everything in the features list (if applicable).
If you need the most important information about a pokemon on PRO, this is the place to look.
I.e The seen data for a legendary, catching a legendary, finding the Honey tree chain a Pokemon is in, or even what excavation requirements are needed to catch it.

• Pokemon name and dex ID (i.e #043 Oddish)
• Pokemon form (if it has any)
  • Information on its form
  • Requirements for it to change form
• Links to useful information (if applicable)
• Mega Stones Information:
  • How a Pokemon can Mega Evolve
  • Hyperlink to the required Mega Stone
  • What wave it was released in (e.g Gyrados was released in wave 1, while Charizard Y was released in wave 2)
  • PRO's forum guide on how to get one, if there exists a guide about it
  • PRO's wiki guide, if there exists one
• Pokemon Evolution information:
  • Level required.
  • Item required (with a hyperlink to a page explaining what the item is)
  • If it's a special evolution that is triggered by an event. (e.g Evolving Happiny to Chansey requires it to hold an Oval stone during the day, between 10:00 and 19:59)
  • If evolution is altered on PRO, or if the evolution is not coded.
    • I.e Evolving Sliggoo to Goodra required the player to level it up to level 50 and it had to rain when leveled up, this was changed in PRO to just a level trigger instead
  • If it requires high happiness (e.g Pichu to Pikachu)
    • Explains how to check for happiness level by using the chat command
• Other obtainable ways:
  • If it's a one-time reward for beating a boss/trainer
  • If it's tradeable for a Pokemon or item and where and with who
• Excavation sites:
  • Rarity level

  • Which boss may give the player the Pokemon
  • What tier it is (the higher the tier, the lower the chances for them to drop)

• Miniboss:
  • Requirements for fighting that miniboss
  • Obtaining seen data for a specific Pokemon by fighting the miniboss
  • Hyperlink to a Miniboss forum guide
• Abandoned Pokeball:
  • Hyperlink to the map location (if it has one on PRO's wiki)
  • If you need i.e surf to reach it
  • If the Pokeball has 2 or more Pokemon it can drop and the odds for obtaining the desired Pokemon are higher or mutual
• Fossils:
  • What fossil the Pokemon can be revived from
  • Where to buy the fossil, if you can buy it. And for how much. And if some special condition is in place in certain locations
  • Where to revive that Fossil (i.e Cinnebar Island)
  • Digable patches which can drop it
    • Route/Map with a hyperlink to the location, so even newcomers can locate them
    • Which rarity level does it have for it to drop
    • Additional information for maps that has no information that can be easily found on PRO's forums or Wiki page.
      • I.e Tanoby Key is located below Sevii Island 7's harbor. (You need MS to access Sevii Islands)
• Honey Trees:
  • What stage the Pokemon can be encountered in
  • What chain the Pokemon belongs in (i.e Bug, Grass, Dark, and Normal)
    • Locations of each Honey Tree in Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh
      • Each Honey Tree chain type location (Route/Map name)
  • In-depth information related to Honey, where to find it, type chains and etc
  • Hyperlinks to a Forum guide and a youtube video explaining it
• Most Mythical and all Legendaries are fully covered:
  • If you can only obtain its seen data:
    • If it's an NPC boss, which lineup is featured in, which difficulty it appears in, or if it appears in all
    • If it's encounterable in the Battle Tower (i.e Cynthia has it in her set 2)
    • If it's part of the main storyline quest
    • If you can fight and obtain it through a "miniboss" version of it
    • Former ways to obtain its seen data, if it had any previous ways to obtain it in the past
  • If you can also catch it. How to obtain it:
    • What quest you'll need to do in order to encounter it
    • Hyperlinks to a forum guide or a PRO's wiki page, if both are present, both are used
    • Requirements to start the quest
  • A sneaky toxic-stall tactic somewhere to make it easier for newbies to get over the hurdle of fighting an uphill battle
  • Some cool facts about some legendaries, nothing too major
• Pokemon that can only be caught during events/past events:
  • Which event it took part in
  • When it took place (i.e First time it was implemented or last time it was on live version)
  • Quest related to that event
  • Forum guide and or PRO's wiki page, if it has any
  • Other relevant information for that event/about the Pokemon
• Birth Island
  • If the Pokemon can be caught on this Island
  • Link for Mysterious Ticket and Birth Island so users can read up about them
• Outbreaks
  • If it is part of the spawn set for Outbreaks
  • When it (if available) was first obtainable during an Outbreak (date)
• Guild Island
  • Where on Guild Island is can be found and if its a stable spawn or not
  • Which spawn rarity it has
• Safari Event
  • If it was part of a Safari Event in the past
  • The date of the Safari Event was last seen in
  • How long the Safari Event lasted
  • Which Safari Zone it could be found within (with a hyperlink to the Safari zone on PROWiki)

Search friendly

It's formatted to be as search-friendly as humanly possible with the CTRL + F (CMD +F on Mac) or search field on phone.
With each Pokemon's name and index number fully searchable.
The only prerequisite is that you know which generation it's located in. Otherwise, open all the generations then search.

Does it outclass the Wiki?

No, and it never will.
The only purpose was to collect everything in one place, so those of us that didn't actively use the PRO Wiki had a place to go look.
Its name and some of the base templates used in the prior guide are inspired by Prehax's ♦ COMPLETE PRO POKEDEX | ALL POKEMON | ALL SPAWNS (6/8/18)♦.
However, this is still an original that I came up with. But I did come across Prehax's guide while making my first one, hence where I got the name and inspiration from.

They can consist of either Streamers/YouTubers, people who help on the forums, Wiki Editors, and or forum guide creators.

The contributor role can be obtained by contributing in many different ways, like doing videos/streaming, helping on forums through the creation of guides and the help on the resolution center, or being a wiki editor.
