Heavy Metal is one of the many abilities that are inheritable by Pokémon.
Function
Heavy Metal doubles the weight of the Pokémon with this Ability.
In the handheld games, this has no effect on the Heavy Ball, which uses the Pokémon's species' weight rather than its current weight to calculate the catch rate. This ball is currently not obtainable on PRO.
