Route 46

Route 45 is a Johto route between Blackthorn City and Route 46. Due to its one-way nature, it is not possible to return to Blackthorn City after jumping off the first ledge. An entrance to Dark Cave Entrance is located on the far north side, which serves as a significant shortcut to Blackthorn City using the cave's Dig burrow on Route 31.

Notable miscellanies

Honey Tree

Main article: Honey Tree

The Honey Tree in Route 45 is located near the pond at the end of the east path. By spreading Honey onto the tree, a random wild Pokemon will appear, and the tree will enter a cooldown of 24 hours. This Honey Tree is categorized as a Dark/Ghost tree; spreading Honey to multiple Dark/Ghost Honey Trees in a row will reward with stronger Dark and Ghost types Pokemon.
