Leech Seed is a Grass-type status-based move.

Function

Leech Seed parasitically plants a seed on the opponent, sapping the afflictee of their HP. 1/8th of the afflictee's maximal HP will be siphoned away per turn, restoring it to afflictive Pokémon's own health. If the afflictive Pokémon is switched out, the switched-in Pokémon will supplant it as the beneficiary of the ailment, being the new recipient of the incremental health restorations.

The ailment has no durational determinacy; it will last until a either workable curative agent is used to expunge the status ailment, the afflictee uses Haze or switches out, the afflictive Pokémon is defeated, or the battle ends.
