Gyro Ball is a Steel-type damage-dealing move.
Function
Gyro Ball inflicts damage with no secondary effect.
The damage output of the move is variably governed by the Speed-stat disparity between the operative user and the opponent; the greater the disparity is in favor of the user, the greater the damage output will be. The calculatory formula is illustrated below:
- Base Power = 25 × (Target's Current Speed / User's Current Speed)
The maximally attainable base-power stat is 150; as such, the user's Speed can be up to 600% greater than the opponent's current Speed before the base-power points are no longer boostable.
