The Mysterious Ticket is a ticket that allows you to access Birth Island by talking to the Mysterious Captain at the Vermilion City Harbor. You have the chance to encounter all of the Legendary Counterparts that you were not able to capture previously. Keep in mind that you have to capture at least one of the following Legendaries in order to be able to catch its counterparts on Birth Island:

In order to balance out this awesome opportunity, you have about the same chance to encounter a Legendary as a Pseudo-Legendary, which will have its Hidden Ability. You can encounter one of the following Pseudo-Legendaries:

H. Ackerman is a NPC found in [[Vermilion City]]. He will offer various services in exchange for Mysterious Tickets. These include
*[[Transit Pass]] for 30 days
*Access to [[Guild Island]] (if a guild donates 20 Mysterious Tickets)
*Ability to fight 40 bosses a week instead of 20


         
Dragonite, Garchomp, Goodra, Hydreigon, Lucario, Metagross, Rotom, Salamence, Tyranitar, Volcarona, Zoroark


These available Pokemon cannot be shiny on Birth Island!

To access [[Birth Island]] you must be [[Sinnoh]] champion.

Mysterious Tickets can be used with the Mysterious Sailor in [[Vermilion City]] harbor. The sailor will take you to [[Birth Island]], where you can catch either a 'pseudo-legendary' or a [[Legendary Pokémon]]. The [[Legendary Pokémon]] will be a counterpart to a duo or trio that you already have 1 of. For example, if you have caught [[Entei]], then [[Raikou]] and [[Suicune]] have a chance at spawning. The [[Legendary Birds]] and the [[Forces of Nature]] will not spawn on [[Birth Island]], since you can obtain all 3 from their respective quests. Additionally, the use of a Mysterious Ticket has a cooldown of 24 hours. Note that the spawned pseudo-legendary will always have their best Ability in regards of [[PvP]]-aviability, this includes [[Abilities#Determination|Hidden Abilities]].

Once you enter Birth Island, your Mysterious Ticket will be removed from your backpack. The player will get a chance of the following Pokémon listed above. The player does not have bring any hunter Pokémon (False Swiper and Sync) when entering Birth Island as they will be given the opportunity to leave to get hunter Pokémon after seeing the randomly generated Pokémon.  
 
If you are not prepared doing any of the following will cause the Pokémon to disappear:  
 
• Interacting with the Pokémon and running away
 
• Failing to capture it whether you blackout or run out of Pokeballs.
 
So please be prepared.

Mysterious Tickets, obtained through the World Quest can either be spent on the H. Ackerman NPC for various rewards, at the Old Man Jerry NPC for accessing Mirage Island 3 days in a row or at the Mysterious Sailor in order to enter Birth Island. At Birth Island you have the chance to encounter all of the Legendary Counterparts that you were not able to capture previously.

H. Ackerman

H. Ackerman is a NPC found in Vermilion City. He will offer various services in exchange for Mysterious Tickets. These include

  • Transit Pass for 30 days
  • Access to Guild Island (if a guild donates 20 Mysterious Tickets)
  • Ability to fight 40 bosses a week instead of 20


Birth Island

To access Birth Island you must be Sinnoh champion.

Mysterious Tickets can be used with the Mysterious Sailor in Vermilion City harbor. The sailor will take you to Birth Island, where you can catch either a 'pseudo-legendary' or a Legendary Pokémon. The Legendary Pokémon will be a counterpart to a duo or trio that you already have 1 of. For example, if you have caught Entei, then Raikou and Suicune have a chance at spawning. The Legendary Birds and the Forces of Nature will not spawn on Birth Island, since you can obtain all 3 from their respective quests. Additionally, the use of a Mysterious Ticket has a cooldown of 24 hours. Note that the spawned pseudo-legendary will always have their best Ability in regards of PvP-aviability, this includes Hidden Abilities. Here is a list of pseudo-legendary Pokémon that may spawn:
