Mt. Coronet Summit is a Sinnoh mountain. This page contains the center parts of Mt. Coronet: Mt. Coronet Summit, Mt. Coronet 4F, Mt. Coronet 5F, Mt. Coronet 6F, Mt. Coronet 7F and Spear Pillar. All those areas are closed off until completing Team Galactic HQ.

Mt. Coronet Summit is the exterior area of the mountain. It connects to both Mt. Coronet Tunnel on its north side and Mt. Coronet 3F on its south side, making it possible to reach it from any entrance of the whole Mt. Coronet.

The summit is separated into a northern and a southern section. In order to go to the other side, it is necessary to cross Mt. Coronet 4F. An extra entrance on its south-east side allows entry into an extra part of 4F, which leads through a room where a one-time catchable Rotom can be found, although Waterfall is required.

Mt. Coronet 5F can be entered through the north-western entrance of the summit. It leads to Mt. Coronet 6F and 7F, then eventually to Spear Pillar, where the climax of the Team Galactic events happens. Events there will take the player to Distortion World. However even after completing the Sinnoh story, there is this worth to going that far as Ash Westbrook will appear there to be challenged.

Notable miscellanies

Team Galactic encounter

After completing Team Galactic HQ, it will be said that the next destination is here at Mt. Coronet Summit. More specifically, the main events will happen at Spear Pillar, but Galactic grunts will be blocking most of the way up to the top.

Once at Spear Pillar. Cyrus will be there along with Commanders Jupiter and Mars, and events will unfold with many of Sinnoh's legendary Pokémons. After the events, Cynthia will appear. Upon talking to her, the player will teleport to Distortion World.

Rotom encounter

A catchable Rotom can be found inside the small room of Mt. Coronet 4F. To reach it, it is necessary to enter 4F through Mt. Coronet Summit's south-east entrance, then use Waterfall to reach its room. In there, examining the only rock in the room will trigger the fight with the level 10 wild Rotom.

Magnet Rise Tutor

A Move Tutor for the move Magnet Rise can be found in the center east of Mt. Coronet Summit, accessible from its southern side. He will teach the move to any compatible Pokémon for the price of 12,000.
