Whitney
Whitney, is the third official gym leader of one of the mainlands existing in the game, Johto. Whitney can be fought in the Goldenrod City Gym; nonetheless, beforehand, players are expected to complete a side quest, which is a prerequisite for the fight. Upon completing the quest, players are free to challenge Whitney in the gym. Whitney is a specialist in the usage of Normal-type Pokémon; therefore, she uses a Miltank and Clefairy. Whitney's defeat results in a handover of the Plain Badge, to the winner. The move Covet can be taught to capable Pokémon via the move tutor at the entrance of the gym by offering $10,000 Pokédollars.
