Route 112 is a Hoenn route which connects many areas together. Fiery Path splits the route into a north and a south section, both leading to Route 111 North and Route 111 South respectively when headed east. East from the southern entrance to Fiery Path is a cable car that can be taken to reach Mt. Chimney, however it will be blocked until Jackson in Meteor Falls has been defeated.

Up the ledges on the south-west side is the entrance to Lavaridge Town as well as Jagged Pass' exit, however it is not possible to reach Mt. Chimney from that side due to its one-way nature.

Mt. Chimney

East of the southern entrance to Fiery Path is a cable car that will take the player to Mt. Chimney. At first, it will be blocked by sleeping Maqua members, it will be necessary to defeat Jackson in Meteor Falls before they leave.

It is notably necessary to head to Mt. Chimney in order to reach Jagged Pass and Lavaridge Town, the two areas blocked by ledges on the south-west side of the route.
