Imposter is one of the many abilities that are inheritable by Pokémon.
Function
Imposter, upon switching in, imitates the opposing Pokémon. It will copy the species, appearance, Type(s), Moves, Ability, current stats, stat changes, height, weight, and gender. The copied moves will have 5 PP on each move. The opponent's HP, level, status condition, friendship, and held item are not copied.
It will fail if the opposing Pokémon is behind a Substitute, coated by an Illusion, or if it is transformed itself.
