The Missing Santa quest begins here by speaking with Elf Catherine between the Pokémart and Pokécenter.
This is a compulsory quest in order to start the Zekrom and Reshiram (quest) that was added during the Christmas event of 2021.

Santa explains that he has hidden them to prevent the kidnappers from taking them. Speak with the kidnappers and one of them will challenge you to a battle.
