As hinted by the Maqua grunts in [[Route 121]], this place is necessary to visit for the story, and many battles await against them. Although the encounter does not start immediately, it is advised to stock on healing items before going in: [[Mt. Pyre]] is famous for being the most annoying story point of Pokémon Revolution Online due to its marathon of battles in which dropping out is not allowed.

Route 122 is a small Hoenn route located between Route 121 and Route 123. The route is almost fully on water, with nothing of interest, except one famous location. Mt. Pyre will be required to visit for the Hoenn story.
