Bell Tower is a Johto Tower, located in the north of Ecruteak City. The tower will however be blocked by Scientist Rey until the player has defeated the Johto Elite Four.
The Bell Tower is known to be home to most of Johto's Legendary Pokémon. Most notably, it will be necessary to visit this location before being able to meet the Legendary Beast Trio, Entei, Raikou and Suicune, and Ho-Oh will also be waiting at the top floor of the tower.
Notable miscellanies
Legendary Beast Trio and Ho-Oh
The first time Bell Tower is entered, the legendary Beast Trio, Entei, Raikou and Suicune, can be seen dancing in the north-east corner of the first floor. However, upon talking to them, they will flee away. Returning to Scientist Rey at the Bell Tower Barrier Station, he will explain that they beasts could not have ran away further than Johto, and ask to get their Pokédex Data.
From that point, the beast will be found at the following locations:
- Entei: Johto Safari Mountain Zone. Rock Smash will be required.
- Raikou: Mt. Silver 3F
- Suicune: Tohjo Falls. Waterfall will be required.
After finding all three of them and reporting back to Scientist Rey, Ho-Oh will now also appear at the top of the tower, and it will be possible to fight it in order to also get its Pokédex Data.
Heal Bell Tutor
The Move Tutor for the move Heal Bell was once located in the south-east corner of Bell Tower Floor 7 but was moved at June 29, 2019 to Ecruteak City in order to make the tutor easier to access. The tutor teaches the move to any compatible Pokémon for the price of 16,000.
