===Lance===
Just like Bruno, the [[Dragon (type)|Dragon]] user Lance returns, but this time standing on the Champion throne. His team will also be more worthy of his type than last time, now having only two Pokémons that are not [[Dragon (type)|Dragon]], as well as all of his Pokémons knowing either [[Outrage]] or [[Dragon Pulse]]. Fortunately, he knows no move to counter his main nemesis, the [[Fairy (type)|Fairy]] type. Furthermore, his last 4 Pokémons all know [[Earthquake]] and are double weak to [[Ice (type)|Ice]]. Once his [[Charizard]] and [[Gyarados]] are out of the scene, his rest will ultimately fall in front of a Pokémon with [[Levitate]] such as [[Weezing]], or will fall quickly if a fast enough Pokémon brings any [[Ice (type)|Ice]] type move.
